I’ve quickly learnt from my first year working at Love Africa that if we have to do something scary or outside of our comfort zone, it’s termed ‘character building.’

And we use that term a lot.

In 365 days, I have already left the country twice (two more times than last year), taken on the world’s longest commercial single-drop abseil, lived on a private island for two weeks by myself, went on a 13 hour game drive, and had my first single-engine caravan flight…multiple flights actually.

While I love travelling, you could call me a bit of a ‘scaredy cat’, with my fear of heights, hippo, and doing things alone, as my top 5 life fears, all of which was challenged within the first six months of working for Love Africa
